Proposed South Wales Calligraphy Group

Some calligraphers in South Wales are thinking about setting up a regional group. Please email Alison Allan at swscribes1@gmail.com to let us know if you would be interested, or if you would like more information. If you know any other calligraphers or anyone interested in calligraphy and lettering in South Wales, please spread the word!

Martin Taylor 1943 - 2011.

Pen People is sad to hear of the death of Martin Taylor in May of this year. Martin helped our magazine with many tips and advice to subscribers. Our thoughts are with Lola his wife at this sad time. Martin taught calligraphy and for many years, provided an excellent service to calligraphers by stocking many specialist materials and equipment with his Penmandirect business (since sold). He will be missed by all who knew him either directly, or indirectly through his many contributions to calligraphy.
